Magnetach Logo
Uniquely engineered like no other. Elastomeric mount design allows dual carbide inserts to pivot side to side and end to end in unison, following minor floor contour fluctuations. Keeps dual scraping edges in contact with the floor and maximizes material removed, increases edge life and significantly minimizes costly surface cap damage. Even helps absorb the damaging effects of shock loads to the machine when contacting floor obstructions. No shot blasting or dangerous chemicals needed. Cost effective for removing a wide variety of urethanes, paints and many other materials. Can be used on Lavina®/EDCO® magnetic retention surface grinders.

Features:

  • Dual, Tungsten Carbide inserts, improve material removal & maximum insert service life
  • Elastomeric mounts help maximize material removal, minimize surface damage & reduce shock loads to the machine
  • Plated finish resists corrosion for improved service life & reduced maintenance costs
  • Directional, rotation marked for easy identification & installation
  • Designed for magnetic retention, fast changeout, no wedge required, no parts to lose
  • Comes fully assembled & ready to use for added convenience

OPERATING ENVIRONMENT  & APPLICATIONS
Operating Environment Non-hazardous type locations
Performance/Applications Removal of urethanes, epoxies, rubber membranes, material buildups, paints, mastics, and similar materials. Note, if scraping a blunt edge file against the coating surface removes material, generally speaking, it can be removed by scraping. A water and sand slurry can also be used to increase productivity on extrudable materials. Adding weight to the grinder can also increase productivity. If none of these options work, removal may require grinding or using tools with an impact force such as a jackhammer.
Surface Material Concrete
Scraping tool
Finish/Profile Smooth
Service Life Up to 8 hours per tungsten carbide insert edge. Dependent on surface material properties, job application requirements among other factors. Call for technical assistance assessing your job application requirements, no obligation required. We are here to make you successful.
